ACES' Industry events enable students to meet real engineers and representatives from the civil engineering and construction industry and give them a superior insight into the different career pathways and opportunities available in the industry, by providing resources and information.

INDUSTRY NIGHT

Presentation by representatives from various major consulting and construction companies about the services they offer and the opportunities available for undergraduate/graduating students, on top of an opportunity to network with all the companies present. Our Industry Guide packed with information is also released during this event.

SITE/OFFICE TOURS

A limited-place event, allowing students to visit the selected company or visit their work site. Students get an opportunity to gain experience in the industry as well as to network with the staff of the selected company.

VACATION INFORMATION NIGHT

Be there to hear from students who have participated in vacation/graduate work at various Civil Engineering and construction companies to get an idea of what it is like to work in the industry.

MOCK ASSESSMENT CENTRE

Have you been to an assessment centre before? If not, no worries! ACES got your back. We will give you a taste of the processes and activities that happen in these centres to help you boost your employability skills.

CAREER CONNECT WORKSHOPS

ACES is associated with Career Connect who helps to plan your career by providing a range of resources, information and opportunities to increase employability. The focus of the workshop is mainly on careers, career development, graduate employability and graduate recruitment.
