ACES has and will continue to host multiple social and academic events throughout 2022, with the goal to deliver new events, unlike any seen in the past. Here you can find more information on our events from 2022.

Mock Assessment Centre
This event comprised getting a first-hand experience of what to expect at interviews and assessment centers at engineering firms.

12D Software Training Session - Sem 2
This event consisted of live tutorials of Engineering software programs, 12D, relevant to coursework and also used in the Civil Engineering industry. The event this semester was led by a representative from 12D, one of ACES' 2022 Sponsors.

Vacation Information Night
This event held by the club consisted of presentations by representatives from various major consulting and construction companies about the services they offer and the opportunities available for undergraduate/graduating students, as well as, the opportunity to network with all the companies present. Current and past students involved in internships and vacation programs provided insights into their experiences in the industry and helped the attendees with the application process. Every attendee was handed a one-of-a-kind industry guide with insights into networking, resume-building skills, employment tips, interview advice, and much more. Among the attendees were ACES' 2022 Sponsors: 12D, ATC Williams, GHD, Symal, WSP- Golder, and Seymour Whyte. Other company attendees included Mott Macdonald, Arup, SMEC, Aurecon, Yarra Valley Water, FSG, and Engineers Australia.

Industry Night 2022
This annual event was held by the club which consisted of presentations by representatives from various major consulting and construction companies about the services they offer and the opportunities available for undergraduate/graduating students, as well as, the opportunity to network with all the companies present. The events remained one of the highlights of the year and many students appreciated the opportunity to network with the attending companies. Among the attendees were ACES' 2022 Sponsors: 12D, ATC Williams, Dalton Consulting Engineering, Symal, WSP- Golder, and GHD.
